i was really struck by this quote which i read from People magazine while having my hot oil treatment done at FIX in Robinson's Place. Man! Pops is so right! i just love getting pampered! aside from the hot oil treatment, i had a foot spa with pedicure. my feet felt so refreshingly clean and relaxed afterwards. i was supposed to have my finger nails done too but i was running short of time. i guess i'll have to do them myself. i finally found a denim skirt that fits! yipeeeeeeeeeee!!! i got it at kamiseta and guess what? the size was large only! read LARGE not EXTRA LARGE! that made me feel so good about myself! hehe... silly ole shallow me i also wanted to get this white peasant top to go with the skirt but 'twas so expensive and i was outta moolah. see, i had to pay my electrcity bill this morning. hay... the trials of independent living.i also got a copy of Lea Salonga's Broadway Concert Cd and i can't wait to listen to it! i did some grocery shopping too; got yoghurt, biscuits and a few other necessities. i also got a little prize for myself (for what? heck, i don't know!) - a bag of jack & jill tortillas (the one in black wrapping) it's my all time fave junkfood even Lay's couldn't compare to its heavenly taste! yumyumyum! i haven't eaten junk food in almost a month now so i'm planning to chow 'em down while watching gilmore girls tonight. i just got back a couple of minutes ago, dropped my shopping bags at the dorm and headed down here at an internet cafe to blog. this blog thingy is like a new toy. once you have it, you can't take your hands off it but once it gets old, you totally forget about it. jeez, i hope it wouldn't be the same with my blog. i'll try my very best to look for internet services just so i can update this little webbie of mine. i don't know if anyone reads this blog already but i've advertised it to my sister and 1 of my close friends, katz. see, i feel so small compared to the other blogs out there! but in time, i guess i'll be revising this to make it look fancier and more ME. gotta sign off now! i'm famished! tortillas here i come!!!

this morning i woke up to the sound of crashing things above me. arrrrrgh! i wanted to sleep in a little bit but it was just too noisy! and the killer rays of the sun was already peeping through the blinds making sleep impossible. so i got up and took a long shower then headed down to the photo shop to pick the pix which i had printed yesterday. i didn't like the quality of their digital pix very much. the ones which i had printed in ayala cebu were way better! then i walked to wendy's where i had brunch. yumyumyumyum!!! i had the usual - big bacon classic combo. right now i'm at the U.M (univeristy mall) just blogging, checking my mail and checking out other blogs too. i'm currently using computer number 2 and there's this couple beside me using computer number 1. heck, they can't keep their hands off each other! they're cuddling and oggling each other like they're the only 2 people in the world! they look so sweet together and i can't help but feel a little bit envious. jeez... just looking at them makes me miss someone so much... today's the exams for the TLS applicants. i saw the test papers yesterday, man! they were impossibly difficult! but the photo exam was relatively easy. hmmm... so what are my plans for today? after this i'm goind down to Angelo KIng International Center, the nearest hotel to my place to have a room reserved for me and my dad. he's coming here tomorrow for a wedding of one of his friend's daughters. i haven't seen anyone from my fam in almost a month now so i'm kinda' excited to see my dad tomorrow. we're not that close but i love that familiar feeling you get when you're with your family. after that, i'm heading down to RP (RObinson's place, the nearest mall to my dorm) where i'm going to do some grocery and clothes shopping and have my monthly pamper-me spree. there's this new salong called FIX which i'm going to try out today. i guess that's all i have planned for now. i'll probably be blogging again at an internet cafe at the mall later in the afternoon. see ya then! =)

hey ya'll! wow! i finally have a blog! i know its not as fancy as the others but i'll try to revise it as soon as i learn the basics of webdesign. so, what's up with dear ole me? nuthing much really. during my lit class this morning, we tackled the story at ako'y inanod. i didn't fully understand it when i read last night but this morning during the lecture i realized it was about this sex thing. teehee... slow, mickie! during stat, we had our first activity with the computer. it was pretty easy up until we got to the part when we had to input loads nad loads of numbers. i felt so dizzy afterwards! oh yeah, i scored 24 over 30 on our first exam. hmmm...not bad, i should say. my prof in filipino1 was absent again! oh well, who am i to complain? during history class, we didn't exactly have a lecture. our prof just talked about the career options for those students who are going to major in history. they were quite cool actually. if you graduated with a degree in b.s history (i think) you could get a job in the foreign services and maybe become an ambassador or a consultant in other countries. heck, you could get to travel a whole lot! but nah, i don't think so. i'm happy with the course i'm in now and i haven't regretted pursuing it, not one bit. after class, i had a not-so satisfying lunch at the dorm. manang's menu today was t-bone steak but when i tasted it, it felt like rubber in my mouth. my jaws actually felt sore after eating! then after freshening up, i went to the photo shop to have my digital pix printed. i was delighted that this certain photo shop actually printed digital pix right from the pc card! and the best part is that they could burn it to a cd-r too! it was quite costly but i'll know if it was all worth it when i see the pictures. then i proceeded to the laundromat to have some of my throw pillows washed cuz they were all so dirty already! then, i headed down to katz' house where i met their maid who was accompanying me to the tailor where i was fitted for a new pair of jeans. see, i'm this fat that i don't fit in any of the jeans in the malls. bleeech... whew! i got quite exhausted after all that walking under the sun's burning heat! then i went to the TLS (The LaSallian) office where i hanged out and talked to my editor about my photo essay. we picked the pictures that will be included and talked about the theme and title of the essay. karen and i will be working on it starting next week. at around 5 o'clock, karen and i headed down to the sports complex to swim a couple of laps. i'm dead serious about losing weight this time! now, i'm at one of the computer labs in school taking advantage of the free internet service. i can't wait to get my own phone line already! so... that's about it for now. toodles! =)
